We start off our week with a beautiful walk along Island View beach. Walking along the beaches is a great way to choose uneven surfaces to improve balance. 🙂 Lots of beautiful driftwood.
This week was filled with lots of meetups and interviews. I did a couple of interviews for our membership community. We call these Just Like Me interviews. They are a great way to get to know our members, learn their stories and find out more about how they came to yoga.
We filmed Namaste Yoga Part 3/3 on Patience at Gowlland Todd provincial park this week. You get to see our trek out. 🙂 On Monday we filmed a two hour long restorative yoga class for our members called Surrender with Sita. We show you the gorgeous location at Beacon Hill park in the field of purple flowers.
On Thursday evening we spent some time in a local cemetery with the deer. Happy Birthday to my friend Stephanie. Rashmi and I started sanskrit lessons again. I have been studying and practicing the mantra Om Namah Shivaya Om with Sally Kempton.
Our monthly motivation meetup was fabulous this weekend. We spent time with the Goddess Sita with a shakti pranayama and a guided meditation for manifestation.
I finished up my week serving at the Salvation army. There was a lot of behind the scenes things that happened this week that weren’t included in the vlog. I finished by speaking about how I manage my own personal energy. I speak about my own unique chi and how I need to restore my energy. I also speak about how I am a deep diver and how this means I need to retreat to spend time refueling my energy tanks. How do you create balance and harmony in your life?
