Bodybuilding and Yoga?
Today’s question comes from Rehan from Facebook and he wants to know, can I continue my yoga along with body building?
Thank you for a great question Rehan. Yoga is fantastic cross-training for your body building. Much of your body building shortens your muscles whereas yoga does build muscular strength it also improves your flexibility and lengthens your muscles out. The other thing is that yoga teaches you breathing techniques that could potentially cross over well to your weight training as well. So yes, absolutely, yoga would be a great thing to practice in conjunction with your body building.
