Fascia and Yin Yoga
In this short video I will be offering an explanation of myofascia so that you know what it is and the difference between the way that we approach myofascia in a hatha yoga or vinyasa yoga class and the deeper connective tissue in a yin yoga class. I will also explain how we utilize the principles of yin yoga to access the deeper connective tissues that wrap around the joints and the bones in a yin yoga class. Yin yoga is incredibly beneficial for the tougher connective tissue of the hips which tends to get stuck from repetitive movement patterns and hours of sitting.
