Victoria Hike
This week we were looking for an easy hike close to Victoria BC. We decided to head out to Gowlland Tod Provincial Park. Our energy has been kind of low (because winter), so we were looking for a hike without too much incline and one that wasn’t too long either. We decided on Roundtree loop. The signs were kind of confusing. I think we were meant to go to the right rather than straight, so the beginning of our hike was a gravel road and not too deep in the forest. This trail was not marked at all and we had no idea where the loop was. However, there was a beautiful lookout point and eventually we found our way back to what was probably Roundtree Loop. Once we got onto Roundtree Loop in the forest, the trail was absolutely gorgeous and we were much happier. Our advice is to go to the right of the sign to start!
