Happy Victoria Day to all my fellow Canadians!
This is how I spend my Victoria Day weekend – planting my vegetable garden! As many of you know I have a fairly strong green smoothie and green juice habit that is a bit challenging to maintain. The solution is to plant my own greens. Gardening is a great way to connect with your food from root to plate. I find gardening to be incredibly yogic in that way in that it is all about connecting – it creates union between you and your food and you and your children – children love gardening. Gardening is also incredibly grounding and will plug you into your root chakra. My one piece of advice to you is to connect with somebody who knows more than you about gardening. They will be able to give you lots of tips to help you improve your gardening. Here are some of my favourite gardening videos.
