I have had numerous requests lately for help with sinus drainage and yoga for allergies and immune function. So I thought I would include a juice to help with allergies and hay fever for this week’s Thirsty Thursday video. Allergies are usually caused by chronic inflammation in your body due to stress and poor digestion which allow the toxin to activate your immune system. This actually causes the inappropriate inflammatory response in your eyes, nose and airways.
Stress, worry, fatigue and gastrointestinal upset will trigger or exacerbate allergies, so resting, practicing yoga and eating foods that help to alleviate inflammation and fight free radicals will help.
Anti-Allergy Juice Recipe
- 2 Apples – high in vitamin A, C, and B which help cleanse your system and aid in digestion
- 1 large Beet – High in vitamin A antioxidants, and betaine an enzyme that strengthens your liver and gallbladder
- 2 carrots – antioxidant, boost immunity, antibacterial, cleanse the liver and digestive system
