Today’s question comes from Karen from Facebook and she asks:
Is it okay to do poses from all fours kneeling on a thicker pad or blanket? Will that put me out of alignment?
This is such a great question because I think that kneeling on a thicker pad or blanket will allow you to bring greater awareness to your alignment and therefore core strength. We’re going to have to go to video to look at this in more depth!
Your legs should be right underneath your hips and perpendicular to the floor. Often they will sway out to the side. When that happens you are putting more stress on your joints, rather than using your core strength from proper alignment.
