Ladysmith British Columbia
The plan was to go to Ladysmith to go for a hike, but it was raining buckets, so we decided to enjoy a day out and get some cinnamon buns and go for lunch in Ladysmith. The views were gorgeous on the Malahat because we were continually driving through the clouds, Our first stop was old town bakery. After Old Town Bakery, we went across the road to Wild Poppy Bistro which is entirely gluten free! Wild Poppy Bistro is an amazing place. I absolutely fell in love with this cute bistro. Their food was so fresh and good.
In this vlog we talk about trusting our gut and using our two feet to walk away when things don’t feel right. Does that ever happen to you?
I cannot recommend Wild Poppy Bistro highly enough. I checked and they are closed due to covid-19. As soon as they open, I will be driving back up to Ladysmith to support them and I encourage those of us who live in Vancouver Island to support this amazing local business.
We drove to Elliots Beach Community Park. Highly recommend it as a day trip from Victoria.
