Mudras for Awakening the Energy Body was written by Alison DeNicola and Artwork by Sabina Espinet in 2016. This is Alison DenNicola’s first mudra deck with Sabina Espinet. Their second mudra deck, Mudras for Awakening the Elements comes out in 2017.

The 112page guide book is full colour and includes: full size, full colour illustrations, instructions for the poses, information about their health benefits and guided meditations. There are 4 mudras for each chakra. 

The cards are two sided. Each chakra card has the meaning, location, sound, colour, symbol, body parts, element and qualities. The guidebook expands to include suggested practices. 

Each mudra card tells you what the mudra will assist you with, the benefit of the mudra, how to do the mudra and where to focus when practicing the mudra. The guidebook expands on ideas for practice with visualizations that you can use during your mudra. 

The cards are matte. The guidebook is full colour with a full reproduction of the card next to the description.
