Yoga with Melissa Episode 20: The Kapha Dosha with Dr Melissa West

Yoga with Melissa 20 is a yoga class to bring balance to Kapha dosha. Kapha is the dominant dosha of winter, it is dark, heavy and damp like winter. When the kapha dosha becomes imbalanced we can experience inertia, sluggishness, depression, lethargy, and fatigue. To bring some energy to this imbalance we will engage in a practice that is stimulating, moving, warming, lightening and energizing. This class includes sun salutations to stimulate kapha dosha and many backbends to get that excess mucous moving out of the chest.
