New Beginnings

vlog22This week started with a very special visitor, one of my best friends in the whole world came to visit me. Many of you will know her as well as Kelly from Kelly’s Bake Shoppe, Lettuce Love Cafe and now the author of Made with Love Cookbook. Kelly made a trip to Vancouver to do some promotion for her Made with Love cookbook and so she took a seaplane over to Victoria to visit us for the day 🙂

We had so much fun seeing all the sights and visiting all the best bake shops in town. We started our day with breakfast at Moles and then the running of the goats. Our first bakery stop was Fol Epi. Second bakery was Crust Bakery. After all the bakeries we went to feed the seals at Oak Bay Marina.

Wednesday was sad because Kelly was gone 🙁 Filming was so beautiful on the gorge because we found a public dock. It was incredibly hot.

On Thursday Tim flew the drone at the Chinese Cemetery. I talked to you about some of the new content I am filming for the membership community – short yoga for anxiety classes.

On Friday, Canada day we went to Gowlland Tod Provincial Park. We saw so many jelly fish from the water. Sorry for the boring vlog segment in Gowlland Tod Park! Lol!

On Saturday we went on a hike in Lone Tree Park! This is a hike with a lot of climbing! I thought a lot about training for climbing a mountain. The steeper the climb, the better the views! It was so windy at the top.

We finished up the week with our first official Facebook LiveStream. Our Facebook LiveStream is part of a new beginning for Yoga with Melissa.
