Principles of Yin Yoga

This video will describe how we access the deeper connective tissues, meridians and practice in a more meditative way in yin yoga through the principles of yin yoga.

First we will go through each of the principles of yin yoga including:

1. choose an appropriate edge

2. be still

3. soften

4. stay for awhile

Secondly we will explore how each of those principles allows us to access the deeper connective tissues of our bodies (vs. the muscles), aids in allowing chi to flow through the meridian system and helps us develop a more meditative practice.
