Hello and welcome to our family trip to Ucluelet.
The beginning of our day was all sorts of crazy with wind bringing in all kinds of weather systems.
We started in Coombes with the always fun goats on the roof. Luckily the goats were still on the roof in October! 🙂
Part of our fun in going to Ucluelet is stopping about 100 times.
After Coombes we stopped at Cameron Lake and then onto the old growth forest, Cathedral Grove. Kennedy River Cascade is a must stop through Sutton Pass.
We made it to Ucluelet and I was greeted by one of the locals in front of the Ucluelet sign 😉
Our first full day in Ucluelet we went into town and saw a California Sea Lion at the docks.
Our first afternoon we went for a short hike along the Wild Pacific Trail.
On the day we celebrated Thanksgiving we talked the Rainforest Trail in Pacific Rim National Park, Tofino and went to Long Beach also in the Pacific Rim National Park in Tofino. 🙂
On our final afternoon we took another hike on the Wild Pacific Trail in Ucluelet.
We stopped at Sprout Lake on our road trip home.
Thank you for watching and sharing our Thanksgiving with us.
I am grateful to be able to share the beauty of Vancouver Island with you.
See you next week!
