The Art of Disappearing for a Day: Vlog 33

Pacific Marine Circle Route

vlog-33-pacific-marine-circle-routeWe began our week filming Yoga with Melissa at Government House. I started back to yoga classes this week with my yoga teacher Carly Forest. I have been integrating letting go of tension into my yoga practice on and off my mat and so it really stood out to me when she spoke about surrender. I was also touched by a Naomi Shihab Nye poem that I will read to you at the end of the vlog today.

On Wednesday we went out to get some fruit and veggies for our week and we found a beautiful pumpkin patch. Wednesday we also scoped out some new locations for filming some Yoga with Melissa Episodes.

On Thursday we did the Pacific Coastal Loop visiting Port Renfrew and Botanical Beach.

We hiked in with our water and the drone. It was a beautiful day for a hike. Timing is everything with the tides at botanical beach. The tides were high so we couldn’t hike along the beach. It was still beautiful!

We continued on our loop to Fairy Lake. We had a picnic there. Not planning to camp here in the future. Next stop was Lizard lake, a great place for swimming.

The highlight of our day was finding a canyon with a waterfall.

I wanted to finish my vlog this week with Naomi Shihab Nye’s poem, The Art of Disappearing and also an excerpt on surrender from Krista Tippett’s book, Book Becoming Wise: An Inquiry into the Mystery and Art of Living

Thank you for watching. 🙂
