Yoga with Melissa 66 is on the Third Chakra and the Warrior Archetype. It is part of our special series on chakras and their archetypes. In this hatha yoga class you will access your inner power and inner strength, feeling a sense of poise in your body while accessing your spiritual warrior. Your solar plexus is your connection to your self-worth and your personal power, through this energy center you become self-respective, decisive and connected to your values. In this hatha yoga class we will connect your peaceful warrior so that you can be an activist in the world.
We begin our hatha yoga practice with a reclined twist or jathara parivartanasana. We access our third chakra through several core strengthening yoga postures such as plank and boat pose in this hatha yoga class. When we come to standing we practice warrior one, two and three poses.
