Yoga with Melissa 57 is about Life Connections. The way we do our yoga reflects how we do our life. The patterns in our life will show up in how we do our yoga. As part of the series of Listening with Your Whole Body we will take a broader look at your yoga practice in the context of the rest of your life. What happens off your yoga mat and on your yoga mat are often interconnected.
In this yoga class we will begin with a seated reflection. From there we will do a few cat/cows to release your spine. We will then do some sun salutations or surya namaskar. When we come to standing we will practice the warrior poses to reflect on your life. Rabbit pose allows you to release your ego mind, cobra asks you to open your heart. There are various versions of happy baby pose in this class as well.
